The People's Choice Awards 2010 took place at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles this evening (January 6th) and Katherine won the award for "Best TV Drama Actress", beating Anna Paquin, Blake Lively, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Mariska Hargitay in the public vote.

The award was her second individual People's Choice trophy, following her 2008 success as "Favorite Female TV Star". Previously, she has also picked up collective awards for movies such as 27 Dresses and Knocked Up, as well as for TV medical drama Grey's Anatomy.
